Yes I agree designer's should be socially responsible in the way you have
described. It is good to ask the significance of what it is you do. I just
don't know how limiting ICSID should be in relation to designer's engaged in
destructive design. And of course how can the decision be made. I myself and
Richard my partner have put our jobs on the line for this very thing.. Refusal
to work on something we thought was harmful. And on occasion I thought I was
putting my life on the line for something I thought was a higher good. But in
truth it was our decision and I am sure we have many blind spots about what is
and isn't in which category.
