We always use the waybills & as far as I know there haven't been any
problems with things getting back. Almost everything we send via Hays is for
the BL. For the occasional thesis or whatever that needs to be returned by
CF post, I just post it by the requested method.

I don't think this is in any way linked to our problems with invoicing
detailed previously to the list - the waybills seem to be processed OK, it's
just that the invoices produced don't get to us.

As i said before, we are very light users anyway & currently rarely borrow
outside BL & the rest of Imperial College.

I have another Hays DX query.  Our delivery man has been trying to persuade
us to use waybills instead of consignment notes.  I have been advised that
we are the only library in the London area who continue to use consignment
notes. We use them because of the tracking facilities.  What do other
people use and what are the benefits?
