If there are too many cancellations, the BMJ will charge HCLU an additional 5% on the e jnl subs. We also don't yey know what the national procurement project might come up with. For the time being I wouldn't cancel any.

Subject: Cancellation of journal titles
I'm about to start on the (dreaded) task of deciding what journal subs we
should renew, cancel, buy new ones, etc for 2003. (I also circulate staff to
ask for their opinion - it's not just me, I should add!) In the light of now
having full text access to BMA journal titles, I was just wondering if
anyone in Lihnn would be thinking in terms of cancelling their print
subscriptions to any of these BMA titles they presently subscribe to? Any
thoughts, opinions on the matter? All contributions gratefully received!
