Hello
As I was browsing just now - I visited Kevin McGrew's excellent website ..
and had a good dig around!
The Institute of Applied Psychometrics at:
http://www.iapsych.com/index.htm
-Its rationale is:-
The Institute for Applied Psychometrics, llc (IAP) is devoted to the
application of psychological, educational, measurement and statistical
concepts and procedures to issues and problems in education and psychology.
The goal of the IAP is to serve as a bridge between psychological,
psychometric, measurement and statistical theory and methods and applied
practice in psychology and education. The IAP has a special focus on the
use of the Cattell-Horn-Carroll Theory of Cognitive Abilities (aka.,
Cattell-Horn Gf-Gc theory and/or the Carroll tri-stratum theory) in
intelligence test development and interpretation
Kevin is also moderator of the excellent and very information-rich (via its
Files-publications area) listserv:
IAPCHC ... a yahoogroups list
To subscribe - or take a look initially at the list content etc., visit ...

To whet your appetite - this was a recent message from Kevin ...

As part of the preliminary work for the CHC Human Cognitive Abilities
project (http://www.iapsych.com/chchcaproject.htm), I recently reread
J. B. Carroll's self-critique of his seminal 1993 book on human
cognitive abilities. It was a nice reminder on how scholars need to
be critical and reflective regarding their own work.
Carroll's comments should remind all of us who have become enamored
with the Gf-Gc/CHC models to be careful not to succomb to
a "premature hardening of the CHC categories."
A brief summary of the chapter has been posted in the IQs Corner
file. It is called: Carroll's 94 self-crique.doc.

and very good it is too!
So - if you work or maintain an interest in the Intelligence area - take a
look - there are some marvellous papers and summaries of publications
available there. A seriously important resource for practitioners and
researchers alike.
Regards .. Paul
