Hi Richard,
It is essential that your POCT committee/Group is as
broad based and multi-disciplinary as possible. It
must have real clout to ensure that policy is adhered
to, and the ability to take action when necessary. Our
committee reports to the Clinical Risk management
committee and an annual report goes via the Director
of Pathology to the Trust Board. Good luck!
