It's on page 502-1 - on the Web, see
http://www.3sat.de/vtx3sat.php?url=/500/502_0001.htm
I couldn't manage to copy just the text of the page - which is
represented online as a GIF image... such things are possible, but I
don't have the necessary software at home. I've therefore attached
the image to this message in as compact as form as I could manage
(7.9K), whilst maintaining its legibility.
Depending on your mail software, you may be able to double click it
to view the page; otherwise, save it out to disk and either double
click to view it in MS Paint (on a Windows PC... not sure about
Macs), or load it into your browser.
Apologies for sending an attachment, which I imagine Duncan's not
keen on having on the list because of the risk of viruses. My system
is up-to-date with Sophos AV software and has just checked out as
clean... I therefore figured colleagues on this list would want to
read the article as soon as possible.

Yes... my condolences to his family - I hope his wife and daughter
are OK - it appears from 3Sat's first report that his daughter was
severely injured in the crash too.

Postscript to above: I've just found an article about Prof Sebald's
death at BBC News online published at 15.12 today - see:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/uk/england/newsid_1712000/1712934.stm
The good news is that it reports his daughter as being only slightly
injured.
