And, of course, August 15 is a feast day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Dormition of the Virgin in Eastern circles), one of the major feasts of the year. If most saints' days are set according to the date of their death (or translation of relics), then the Assumption would qualify as _the_ saint's day for Mary, on both counts.
