medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Interesting question as it's impossible to tell if
Judas' arm is being raised or lowered. What is certain
is that his fingers are pointed directly at the demon
on the right side of the image. The capital is one of
the few I know of in which Judas is still alive and
he's much more IMHO than just a dead man hanging from
a tree.
