medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Some years back Cathy (Katheryn) Mooney was working on the
motif of female religious who mirculously became literate
(i.e. acquired the ability to read - and presumably
understand - latin.) I believe she is/was at the
university of virginia in Raleigh Durham.
