medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Wendy:
In Thomas of Celano II: 102-108, prophecy and the
understanding of scripture are linked. Also more clearly in
Bonaventure's Major Legend, and in Berengar de
Saint'Affrique's Vita of Clare of Montefalco (d. 1308).
Do you know of prophecy and "infused knowledge" of Scripture
after Hildegard?
If you wish exact refs. in the above works, please ask.
Grazie,
Thomas Renna
