ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF RELIGION. Position Number 0082340, Department of
Religion, University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, tenure track, to begin August
1, 2001 pending position clearance and funding.
DUTIES: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in religion, including
Christianity and World Religions. Conduct research and develop
educational projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. with specialization in Christianity, and
ability to teach undergraduate courses in Biblical studies and the
history of Christianity. Demonstrated ability for effective teaching and
active research.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Background in theory and method in the study
of religion.
MINIMUM ANNUAL SALARY: $34,644
