2001 Competition
The Italian department at Royal Holloway invites applications for the
following studentships. Rated 5 in the 1992 and 1996 Research Assessment
Excercises, the Department can provide expert supervision in nearly all
areas of Italian Studies. We currently have 16 research postgraduates doing
topics ranging from Dante and Renaissance studies to C20th Cultural Studies.

RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS
2 Part time Language Assistantships
covering tuition fees at EU rates + £6000 p.a. in maintenance for 3 years.
In return, students will teach up to 6 hours per week of Italian language.
Available to mother-tongue speakers of Italian only. Starting date:
September 2001
1 College Research Studentship
covering tuition fees at EU rates + £1000 p.a. in maintenance for 3 years
1 College Research Studentship
covering tuition fees at EU rates for 3 years
