I've just tested Europa out on 5 different machines, including my own. Only
one could be described as a "pale blue" background (and is fine). The
others are all difficult to see in varying degrees. The drop down menus are
nice (if you can see them) but the lack of contrast makes them very
difficult to see.
It isn't quite good enough to blame the individual PC setup - public
websites should take into account variations of this kind as well as
accessibility for people with less-than-perfect vision. Moreover, a great
many users may be accessing from public machines and not be able to fiddle
around with contrast buttons.
