Does it occur to you, Mr MacLennan, that it may be somewhat unproductive
dialoging with an ideologue who carries a highly selective database on
contemporary history esapecially as it concerns the Islamic States? His
dossiers, for instance, never acknowledge that the very Government now out
to crush the terrorists (again of a select persuasion) was the one who had
had no less than 16 recorded highest level meetings in the 90s with the very
bunch whom they are now pledging to hound in every nook and hole of the
world. Yes, at the very highest level - and this included the secretary
level! No matter how hoarse Mr Robert Koehler pleads innocence on behalf of
the State, the facts are not going to go away. His history is a highly
biased, half-baked fusion of provocative facts and uproarious fiction. The
line - "people hear what they want to hear and disregard the rest" - was
possibly written...
