Dear All,
Since we changed the default from 'reply to the sender' to 'reply to the
list' we have, perhaps inevitably, had a number of emails that were
obviously not intended for the whole list. Could we please remind you
once again to pay attention when sending a message. It would be helpful
if you spent a few seconds thinking whether the message is intended for
the whole list or not. Sometimes we hear about the personal life of some
of our members, which we find quite funny, but some people have begun to
get annoyed by the excessive load of unnecessary email. As discussed in
the past, it is great to make the list aware of interesting bits of
information, but we have to be careful about doing it properly.
Otherwise we
run the risk of loosing valuable members.
Cheers,
Umberto and Jacqui
