Morning all,
we are undertaking a project to examine the issues surrounding research
utilization by nurses. We will be administering a validated questionnaire
on the barriers to and facilitators of, research utilization. We are also
observing the "role" of nurses in the development of evidence based
clinical paths/ critical pathways/ care maps. We would like to be able to
measure in some way the actual utilization of research evidence by the
participants eg the frequency of reference to research literature, the
types of literature etc. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this? Is
there a tool or any literature on the subject?
Any suggestions or advice most welcome
