I have inherited (it was left in the house) a copy of The Roman
Martyrology, in which are to be found the Eulogies of the saints and
blessed approved by the Sacred Congregation of Rites up to 1961. An
English Translation from the Fourth Edition after the Typical Edition
(1956) approved by Pope Benedict XV (1922) edited by Canon J.B.
O'Connell (London, Burns & Oates, Publishers to the Holy See, 1962).
This says of Cosmas and Damian:
"At Ęgea, the birthday of the holy martyrs Cosmas and Damian, brothers.
They were beheaded in the persecution of Diocletian after they had by
god's help overcome many torments: fetters, imprisonment, the sea,
fire, the cross, stoning and arrows. It is said that their three
brothers, Anthimus, Leontius and Euprepius, also suffered with them."
Oriens.
