I fear you may well have missed something recently. Sadly, I fear it may be
more than a few emails to crit-geog-forum ;-)

It is, I believe, the radical move of buying your monster munch, fags and
gingsters pasties elsewhere that is going to make the garage owners crack
and go out of business. It seems the aim of the campiagn is to make garage
franchise owners complain about unfair taxes - ie making a protest to force
others to protest. All seems a touch unfair and a bit of a pointless
gesture. A better and very real protest would be to not be able to afford a
car and thus not need petrol - yeh, that would show them... Do you know
how much cornish pasties cost these days ? Most of it profit for ginsters
fat-cats I don't doubt too. When I was a lad, you could fill your
car...blah...and still have change to...[insert fun activity] blah, blah
etc.
I agree though.
