Research Fellow: Counselling and Society
Applications are invited for a Research Fellow to work on research project
funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. The project is
entitled "Counselling and Society: A Case Study of Voluntary Sector
Provision in Scotland" and is led by Liz Bondi, Colin Kirkwood and Judith
Fewell. You must have a good grounding in methods of social research,
preferably at postgraduate or postdoctoral level. Experience of conducting
and analysing interviews is essential, and experience of quantitative data
collection and analysis would be an advantage. An interest in counselling,
psychotherapy or mental health issues is also required.
This full time post is tenable for 18 months, commencing on 1st January
2001. Job sharing would be considered.
Salary: £16,286 - £18,185 (award pending)
