Theological Considerations:
The circumcision of a newborn hebrew
infant occured 8 days after birth. At
this ceremony, the child was given his
or her name, in accordance with the will
of the father, but the mother may not have
been fully present due to her want for the
purification ceremony (which would have been
completed only after 40 days following the
viscera of birth). Still, in the woman's court,
she would have been present for proximity's sake
and for verifications, if needed.
For indeed, although the father named the child,
it was the mother that bore forth the legitimacy
of the child's "chosen heritage" as "Thus Named"
in the said Tribe and/or Chosen People of God...
Wherefore, the intrinsic significance of the child's
"Name" was essentially fathered from God, through Adam
and all the pertaining hebrew fathers through history,
such that the paternity and legality of the same would
be represented and definitively fixed in the newborn...
In the case of the feast, Mary, Mother of God, we have
something divine and new (and yet a perfect fulfillment
of the ancient law): for the Circumcision Day, eight days
after the birth of Jesus, shows forth His Name, GOD-SAVES;
but it shows forth the Proximity of the Blesed Mother who
is thus "Mother of All Jesus' Mystical Members Encompassed"
(For "a Woman shall encompass Man..."! Jeremiah 31).
Moreover, since She is Immaculate Conception and also Mother
of the whole God-Man, Name included, not just the human nature
being circumcised but the embraced Theandric Union, She is thus
being rightfully named herself at this ceremony by "De Facto
Denomination"! He is GOD-SAVES and She is thus TRUE-MOTHER-&-
PRISMING-MATRIX-OF-GOD-WHO-SAVES...She is also therefore the
MOTHER-OF-THE-MYSTICAL-CIRCUMCISION-OF-ALL-GOD'S-SAVED-PEOPLE!
So many Sacred Mysteries abound here that I can hardly hope to
due it even a tithing of justice (no doubt owing to the stained
reality of my merely circumcised conceptions and reflections as I
am but a sinful child of Adam - however, thank God through Mary,
cleansed in Jesus' Eucharistic Flesh and Theandric-Salvific Blood).
Humbly then, we say that the Circumincession (Interpenetration) of the
Most Holy Trinity, excluding everything that is not Per Se Divine, is
imaged in the said realities of Hebrew Circumcision (insofar as the same
mysteries are cut in Christ). Moreover, the Incarnational Order of the Holy
Family, in Jesus, Mary, and St. Joseph, irradiate as a sublime mystery cut
over and above the mysteries of the historical circumcision of God's People.
And again, the Thricefold Name of God is imaged (Father-Son-Holy Spirit) in
the Most Holy Name of Mary-Mother-Of-God (Father-Son-Spirit's Spousal Love):
thus MYRYM (Holy Mary's Nature and Name as Mother of the God-Man and Spouse
of the Holy Spirit) is both denominatively and mystically and gracefully and
eucharistically and catalytically and metamorphically and ecclesially and so
analogously-universally "God-Graded!" for our modern age in this Holy Feast:
For She is cabalistically and contemplatively speaking "A Cut-Above!" every
other name and creature by reason of her proximity to Christ...
And since this feast was esentially about "sacred progeny" and the "sacred
blood" of life, see why the Immaculate Heart of Mary is thus the "Search
Engine" for attaining the meaning and efficacy of Christ's "Salvific Blood":
especially insofar as the Sacred Heart of Christ Himself may come to seem so
divinely cut off from "pagan sinners" like our future progeny perhaps: "poor
goyim" and/or but "ungodly gentiles" without His Salvific Grace and Mother's
Co-Redemptive Inclusivity! Thus I circumcise/cut off "WOC-pagan-priestesses"
here: for we have been given here Mary's more-than-sufficient inclusion into
the Royal Priesthood of Jesus Christ - and She is Queen of Heaven and Earth!
Thus, imitate her humility and incarnational "tagging along" shown by a New
Feast - Mary Mother Of God - even as Thricefold Precious Mystical Gifts of
Royalty offered by lowly Magi... For this "Marian Fare" (in Her Immaculate
Heart mangered Incarnationally and unto the Cross-Referenced Piercing that
birthed for us the Holy Eucharist's Effects) is most celestially appetizing
ambosia indeed...
