<pre> I've gotten much assistance from the list and at least now have a full
author's name and a title in two languages. I'd prefer to read the original, so
will spend some efforts looking for the French version when I return
to "civilization" in the fall. However knowing there are several editions and
that it's been translated into English should help. At home I have a seminary
library at my disposal and should perhaps find it (in one language or another)
there.
Again,many thanks to all.

Kwild thing: This is no doubt a translation of L. Duchesne, 'Les
origines du culte chrétien' (1889). I have a reference to the 5th
edition of the translation: L. Duchesne, 'Christian Worship' (5th
edition, London 1927). Have you looked it up on COPAC?
