OSNI have produced four `outdoor leisure maps': two for Upper and
Lower Lough Erne, one for the Mourne Mountains and one for Slieve
Croob. All are essentially 1:10.560/10,000 photo-reduced with new
text, and are rather makeshift-looking. The first three appeared in
the mid-1980s and are single-sided; Slieve Croob appeared in 1995
or 1996, and has on the reverse an enlargement (all in black) of
roads, buildings and names, for the user to add notes to!
There is a 1:20,000 series covering Northern Ireland, produced for
the British Army in the 1980s, but the series is confidential, and I
believe that the only way to see a copy is via military archives in the
USA!!
