Dear Preston,
Greetings from Al-Ain, the oasis city of the Middle East.
I am sure you have got your answers on back pain guidelines by now. As you
may be aware you can also use the Medline to track EBM guidelines.
This is what I did to find a guideline on Back pain.
Accessed Internet gratefulmed @
http://igm.nlm.nih.gov/
Back pain in the subject box.
Click on find Mesh/Meta term.
Clicked on low back pain to explode it.
Scroll down and click on clinical practice guidelines supported by
agency for health care policy research.
This took me to:
Acute Low Back Problems in Adults
Clinical Practice Guideline Number 14
There is no guideline for back pain linked in Medline though you can find
from other sources.
Hope this of some help.
Cheers and warm regards,
Badri
