Dear Ken,
Only seconds before your post I replied to Conall regarding the style of my
posts.
The key points are below. I apologise to you for sailing too close to the
wind. Luther, heretics, burning at the stake etc. A metaphor or two too far.
Sorry.
Yours sincerely,
Alec

Conall,
I take the point. I am deliberately not taking on the style of Ken Friedman
in posts and trying to use humour to clarify the essence of some of the
issues.
I hold no malice for him and have made positive comments with due respect
for him. I sense malicious intent in him for me however. I agree, there is a
risk of misinterpretation on an international list for humour and
light-hearted jousting, so thanks for the objective comment.
I think a quiet word from you with him might be in order too.
Kind regards,
Alec.

Subject: Personal Remarks
Dear Alec
Your remarks about Ken Friedman are too personal and
maybe even insulting. Please stick to the issues and
avoid personal remarks. Better to avoid jokes too,
since there is a chance of misinterpretation.
Best wishes
