The 'De profundis' is Psalm 129 (130):
De profundis clamavi ad te Domine
"Out of the depths have I cried to thee, O Lord."
You can find the text in the Bible.
The De profundis is recited, in the Catholic tradition, for the souls
of the departed. Often it is recited for this purpose after the
Rosary.
Had you not consulted 'medieval-religion', you could have found out by:
(a) Asking any Catholic.
(b) Looking up the reference "De Profundis" in the Oxford Dictionary of
the Christian Church - very often a useful first line of enquiry.
Oriens.
