Hi
Knowing that few people in public understanding seem to listen to BBC Radio
2 (or perhaps they just don't admit it), I thought I'd let you know of a
success relating to Science Week.
Mo Dutter (who is about as low on the intellectual scale as Radio 2 can get)
ran through a few science week events on his early morning show yesterday
(Saturday). Unfortunately, he gave the impression that Science Week is
happening now. But he did finish with a good line about being "surprised
that there was science in pizzas".
Given that Radio 2 is the "most listened to" UK radio station, this is a
notable success for Gamble and colleagues at the BA. The unwashed really
heard about it (including me as I was in the bath at the time).
Cheers
Andy
