Hmm!
a quick glance through my copy suggests that only the first chapter
is relative to Nottingham and most of the rest deals with a
historical review mainly of the 1800's. Can't be too critical of him
since he also went to Leeds, but since he left about the time that I
got there (according to the back cover) his book is the only contact
I have. Incidentally I got my copy in the market in Newcastle after
it had spent some part of its life in the Northamptonshire Libraries.
