Department of Civil Engineering
The Department of Civil Engineering wishes to appoint a lecturer to a
continuing position in transport.
The appointee in the Department of Civil Engineering will prepare and
conduct lectures, tutorials and practicals in the Department’s
undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He/she will undertake research
in the transport field and work with other staff to promote Departmental
activities. The appointee will undertake administrative duties within
the Department and interact with the profession. He/she will work in
conjunction with the Institute of Transport Studies (Monash).
Applicants should have an appropriate high level undergraduate degree
and postgraduate qualification (preferably a Doctorate) in an area
related to transport. They should have experience in teaching, a strong
research record and have shown innovation in academic activities. The
Candidate should be able to demonstrate an innovative approach to
teaching and research.
The Benefits: $48,398 - $57,474 p.a. Level B
Location: Clayton campus, but will be involved in teaching at the
Caulfield Campus
