A major conference 'Doctoral Education in Design' is to be held
at La Clusaz, France in July 2000. Some of your questions may be
answered by speakers at this conference, and I suggest that if
you cannot attend in person, that you look out for an
announcement of the proceedings being made available.
Further details of the conference, as they become available, will
be posted at the conference website:
http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/phd-design/files/france.htm
Towards the end of this year, there will also be a book published
by Elsevier of selected papers.
There is also the conference RESEARCH INTO PRACTICE to be held at
the University of Hertfordshire UK on 7 JULY 2000. This is
also likely to address your questions. For further information
see the conference website:
http://www.herts.ac.uk/artdes/conex/res2prac/
I understand that selected papers from this event will be
available via a web based journal.
