The Report of the UK Task Force on Potentially Hazardous Near Earth Objects
was published on 18 September.
The Report may be viewed on the Task Force's Website

The UK's Astronomer Royal, Sir Martin Rees, has made the point that the UK is less at risk from
other natural hazards such as hurricanes and earthquakes, and because of this it should take a lead
in pre-emptive action.
I'd be interested in your views: is asteroid/comet impact a risk worth taking seriously? or is it
just for the movies?
Regards
David
