In that case try the Circulation activity by TITLE, which is one of the
canned circ stats. You can run this against the entire database
specifying the minimum number of transactions, or more usefully against
a review file of bib records. Here is an example:
Title items chkout INTL USE COPY USE IUSE3 Total
A handbook of pastoral w 1 12 0 0 0 12
Hillforts : later prehis 1 37 0 0 0 37
Human memory : theory an 14 222 0 0 0 222
Human motor control / Da 8 172 0 0 0 172
Interpreting difficult t 2 48 0 0 0 48
Interpreting the landsca 4 13 0 0 0 13
An introduction to coast 7 173 0 0 0 173
Unfortunately as you see from the above example the chkout number is based
on TOT CHKOUT, i.e. the number of times all copies/items circulated from
the beginning of time.
The good news is that the Millennium web management report gives you the
total of YTDCIRC and LYRCIRC values as well. The CHKOUT value includes
renewals in this case, which explains the difference between the figures
in the two versions of the report.
Title items YTDCIRC LYRCIRC chkout
A handbook of pastoral w 1 1 11 18
Hillforts : later prehis 1 2 16 54
Human memory : theory an 14 0 56 394
Human motor control / Da 8 1 55 326
Interpreting difficult t 2 0 32 68
Interpreting the landsca 4 2 29 60
An introduction to coast 7 13 50 361
The only complaint I have with this report is that you cannot limit it to
items at certain locations. (In the telnet version titles are truncated
but they appear in full in the web version.)
