After you read this book John, please ask me for an analysis that I did -
preparatory to Select Committee questions - of each accusation juxtaposed
against what actually happened. It is an eye opener when you ask the person
accused of doing this or that, what actually happened. For instance - all
Timberlands research expenditure is referred to as "PR" budget (Timberlands
do not do anything good, per se) - responsible acts by Timberlands and
irresponsible acts by protesters are painted the reverse - and of course
because the police, health and safety, and the civil aviation authority
back timberlands, then they are part of the conspiracy - as are all the very
highly thought of scientists and public servants that were in any way
connected with the past ten years of Timberlands reviews and research, as
well as conservationists who backed Timberlands (they, of course, cannot be
environmentalists). Innocent acts are spun into something sinister. There
are sins of omission and commission, euphemism, guilt by association, etc.,
etc., etc. Nicky Hager specialises in conspiracy books. The one prior was
an "exposé" of the NZ governments spying network. Some compare it to Eric
von Danekin's book. Start from a belief, and then interpret everything from
that basis.
>From my point of view, I can honestly say that I have heard not one lie from
Timberlands. I have heard a multitude of misinformation from the other
side.
You can find these sites by going through Brian Swale's website. Keep
looking John. You may even find the plans.
