Re Ana Guitierrez' recent email on admin-student re outsourcing of data prep work, are colleagues aware of any other areas of student administration that are outsourced, or that have been considered for outsourcing? Examples that spring to mind are prospectus distribution and other mailings (eg to Alumni), UCAS admissions, production of student ID 'smart cards', bad fee debt collection, and some aspects of graduation (eg degree certificate printing, catering, photography, video etc).
