We routinely measure creatinine as a check on sample integrity as apart of
our urine drug screens. We have two clients one male, one female who exhibit
undetectable urine creatinines. This is not a dilution of the urine: they
look/smell genuine and they have osmolalities > 600 mosm/kg. Furthermore,
illicit drugs are detected in their urines.
I am unaware of any compounds which have a negative interference in the
kinetic Jaffe reaction.
Any ideas?
