Are folks on this list aware of, or interested in, blog carnivals?
Carnivals are periodic annotated collections of current "blog posts"
about a particular topic. Hosting of the carnival is shared by
different members of the community interested in that topic. Since
there is some selection going on (usually self-selection) the carnivals
end up being a good way to scan the discussion in the blogosphere for
better than average material.
There are two that I can think of that would be of interest to this
list, one is general anthropology (and thus includes
archeo/bio/taphonomy and the other is paleontology (and includes some
taphonomy). Here are the URLs for the current editions:
Four Stone Hearth (Anthropology Web Carnival) 34th Edition:

The Boneyard (Paleontology, bones, etc.) 13th Edition:

Carnivals typically come out every month, or twice a month, etc.
Depending of feedback I'd be happy to at least try to remember to post
the URL's of zoo-arch related carnivals. Or not.
Cheers,
