I tend to agree with Michael. No professional writer is going to write
much of a story - no matter how short - for £60. IMHO, anyone offering
this sort of money and expecting any kind of quality is living in
cloud-cuckoo land. As for signing over rights, that's just cheek.
I could of course be just plain wrong. I live just outside Brussels
and have done a lot of work with DG Research, but I've never reached
the dizzy heights of Editorial Director.
