medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
The Hagiography Society could still use more speakers for our sponsored sessions at next year's International Congress on Medieval Studies at Kalamazoo, Michigan (7-10 May 2009). Here is our list of session topics:
I. Villains in Saints’ Lives
II. Medieval Parodies of Saints’ Lives
III. Personal Relationships between Hagiographers and Their Subjects
IV. Cesarius of Heisterbach
To suggest a speaker for one of these sessions or submit an abstract of your own, please contact Fiona J. Griffiths as soon as possible. Her email address is <[log in to unmask]> , and her full contact information is given below. The final deadline for abstracts is 15 September 2008.
Since the Medieval Institute insists on receiving a Participant Information Form from each speaker, please send the necessary form to Fiona with your abstract. You should be able to download and print the form from the Medieval Institute website: <http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/congress/submissions.html#Paper>
