Michael Lapidge recently edited a collection on Augustine of Canterbury.
It's an excellent discussion of some of the major sources. You will
certainly find a good bibliography there. R.A. Markus' book on Gregory
the Great and His World is also very good for its bibliography. These will
provide a good start. Also, Henry Mayr-Harting, _The Christianization of
AS England_ offers an excellent guide.
Hope this helps,
Stephen
