Indeed, however this is only the practice in the Western Church. In the
Eastern Church, baptism was and is generally done during the Feast of
Theophany. In the Eastern liturgy of the West (in general let us use the
term "Tridentine liturgy") we can still find the particular rites for that.
In the Tridentine Liturgy of Easter Night (not the day Mass) we find a
blessing for the Baptism water.
