Dear List-members,
I am writing to beg your assistance in a translation. Jeralydene Wood, in
her work, _Women, Art and Spirituality_, cites a reference to the purchase
of silks and brocades and the manufacture of items by nuns (p. 242). I
would like to include this reference in a paper I am writing.
I have a limited knowledge of Latin, but no acquaintance with what appears
to be late-medieval Italian or some cross between Latin and Italian.
Perhaps someone would be gracious enough to provide me with a brief
translation?
The reference is as follows:
pregio de sessanta fiorini [she entered 8 Dec. 1482]"; and in 1496: "Item,
Many thanks in advance,
