Well, we'll take this slowly, because I don't use Yahoo and I'm hoping my
do-gooderism hasn't led me in over my head. Certain things are common to all
email programs, so it's a question of picking out what those are.
The file is definitely there. It will be in the directory for your email
program. Look on your c: drive for a directory called YAHOO. One level down
in that directory will be a subdirectory set aside for receiving email
attachments. It will probably have a name like "download" or "down."
Anything that might imply it's for incoming files being downloaded (files you
receive), rather than outgoing files being uploaded (files you send). Look
in that subdirectory, and if it has any rtf file--files with names like
ANYTHING.RTF, that's it.
If you can't find "download" or "down," and you can't figure out which of
several subdirectories it might be, the first step is to see if anyone else
on this list uses Yahoo and might know what it's called. Second step is give
me a list of the subdirectories under YAHOO and I'll try to figure out which
one it is. Third step is to get in touch with Yahoo tech support and ask
them what the subdirectory for incoming files is called.
