I did my doctoral thesis (the bulk of which was an edited Latin text) in
Word. When I first started, having just moved over from a Mac running
ClarisWorks, I didn't know you *could* turn off that function that
underlines misspellings in red.
The sea of red was overwhelming, but somewhat fun was the odd "English" word
(like "id") which it "missed."
