Ah, that explains why my old British & Foreign Bible Society (which is the
Society I presume you're referring to) 'Vulgate' (published by Sam. Bagster)
is sans Apocrypha (as is my B&FBS King James Version, pub. CUP, less
surprisingly)! Thanks for the interesting information.
