While not specifically directed toward that subject, I have found
the magisterial bibliography in Campenhaver's (? I am guessing at spelling
) Cambridge Press ed of the Latin Asclepius ( along with the Hermetica) to
have excellent leads in the transmission motives into Medieval lit. It may
not help, but the leads are there.
Good luck.
