This meeting is to mark the retirement of Aftab Khan, Professor of
Geophysics at Leicester University, whose research career has
concentrated amongst other things on the study of extensional
processes in both the East African Rift System and Troodos in
Cyprus. This discussion meeting will bring together a number of Aftab's
UK and international colleagues providing a range of talks on aspects
of the structures and processes of extension in Kenya and other parts
of the East African Rift System as well as the ophiolite complex in
Troodos.
