Laodiceans is, for the most part, composed of bits and
pieces taken from Paul's other letters, especially
Phillipians. (For example, the passage about things "pure
and lovely" is derived from Phil 4:8). Interestingly
enough, my copy of the Vulgate (the Stuttgart edition)
contains Laodiceans in a separate section at the end, along
with the Prayer of Manasseh, a couple of books of Esdras,
and Psalm 151.
