following my list of mss locations -
althought the Witt Library at the Courtauld is best known for it's
paintings - there  is another section (maybe not the Witt, but equally
accessible if you know about it) down the stairs which has a section on
manuscripts.   I've used it and its nothing like as comprehensive as the
paintings  but it has turned up useful stuff for me.
