Running A Public Library Website: A UKOLN and EARL Workshop
Are you responsible for your library's website? Do you want to learn
more about the kind of tools you can use to develop that site? Do
you want to find out about how other authorities have developed
their sites and the kind of problems that they had to overcome? Do
you want to know about future web developments and how they're going
to effect your site? Do you want to learn a bit more about
developing a site and get some ideas about the kind of things you
can use the library web site for? Do you simply want an opportunity
to talk through the issues with other website managers? UKOLN in
association with EARL has organised a workshop aimed at public
librarians who have responsibility for writing their library's web
pages and who are facing all these issues.
The workshop will take place from lunchtime on the Monday 15th
November to lunchtime Tuesday 16th November at the University of
Bath.
The cost of the workshop will be 95 pounds.
More information and the online booking form is available at
http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/events/public-workshop-99/
Places for the workshop are limited to 50 and so please make sure
that you book quickly.
