Thanks Sarah.
I'd just like to give members some info about lis-pub-libs and Mailbase.
Mailbase is funded by the Higher Education Funding Bodies, and whilst the
majority of our lists therefore have to benefit UK Higher Education
directly, we've been allowed to run one or two lists for the other public
sectors at no charge.
We've been very pleased to host lis-pub-libs for the public library sector
and will continue to do so.
With the exciting new developments on the horizon as a result of the
funding being made available to the public library sector, for the new
library network, some of you may be ready to set up further mailing lists
for discussions on more focused topics related to various aspects of these
developments. Mailbase is now able to support this for a fee. You might
like to look at our pages on how you can set up a fee paying list. Our
prices start at 50 pounds (+VAT) a year, and you'll be able to use our full
range of support services.
