Since minor quibbles are in vogue: O'Connell has his aficionados, but I
would say that an even larger following would vote for the standard being
Adrian Fortescue, _Ceremonies of the Roman Rite described_. This book has
gone through many editions, the last one being the 1962 (for the last
revision of the MR prior to the SVCII), currently re-printed by St. Austin
Press http://www.saintaustin.org
